Building a Brighter Future: The Citizens Action to Rebuild La Gonave Initiative
The Citizens Action to Rebuild La Gonave (CARLG) initiative represents a bold and visionary endeavor to rejuvenate the island of La Gonave, Haiti. At its core lies the establishment of a cutting-edge university and a state-of-the-art hospital, aimed at providing an array of academic programs, cutting-edge medical care, and innovative research facilities to the inhabitants of La Gonave and beyond.

The proposed university, with its diverse academic offerings and top-notch facilities including a supermarket, pharmacy, sports stadium, and mini-airport, is poised to become a hub of learning and growth. The hospital, equipped with its own laboratory and a helicopter for emergency patient transport, will serve as a center of medical excellence, providing top-notch health services to both the residents of La Gonave and those traveling to Haiti in need of medical attention.

In addition to the construction of these facilities, the CARLG project places equal emphasis on security, infrastructure, and community engagement. An online social media platform has been established to facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, while a standalone website promotes transparency and accountability.

-
The CARLG project aims to raise $50,000,000 through support from citizens of La Gonave, Haitians in the diaspora, and friends of Haiti globally.
-
To start, we aim to create a network of 500,000 donors, each committing to donate $100.
-
Transparency is crucial and we will adhere to all local laws and be fully transparent.
-
Our financial statements will be publicly available on our website, and we will only involve individuals who follow the norms, laws, and ethical values of the Haitian society.
